After a day off, which it turns out I really needed, I’m back.  Lots of baking by E and Y going on in the kitchen, and swimming in the pool.  I held down the fort while Avdi ran errands.  The heat index was 107 to 110, but at least there was a breeze.  I even planted or transplanted some more herbs, and watered the garden (and myself).

The long bean-looking pods are actually hanging from a huge catalpa tree out back.
