Here’s a preview of my lovely birthday cake by E.  It’s a yellow coconut cake with cream cheese icing/filling, and strawberry topping (with purple sparkles), in keeping with my eccentric tastes.  I can’t wait to try it tomorrow, with vanilla ice cream.  There are some compensations for living this long (and living with a baker)!
