“Walking between the raindrops
Riding the aftershock beside you
Off into the sunset
Living like there’s nothing left to lose
Chasing after gold mines
Crossing the fine lines we knew
Hold on and take a breath
I’ll be here every step
Walking between the raindrops with you”
Yesterday we continued to clean up Rex’s garden with him, between rain showers. There’s still a lot of work to do, keeps me off the streets, STS. The sky approaching Dayton was full of huge ominous-looking clouds, after all the tornadic activity, but there was no repeat.
We wore ourselves out, then adjourned to drinks, kitties, and a friend over. Today we’re returning the favor and having Rex over for dinner. Erev cheers from the echo chamber, where the Skullies are guarding the mountain of boxes.
